The design and effects create a unique vision of a future earth. Easy world-building is established through visuals. It feels like a lived-in future of the past. A great cast elevates what is essentially an old western style tale of betrayal, deceit, and revenge. Unlike the visuals, the narrative doesn't bring much new to the formula.
