'George Washington' isn't focused so much on plot or story. The intent is to transport you into a certain time and place. It generates an indescribable mood through it's images and editing. There's a feeling as if it wasn't scripted, almost borderline documentary, yet not quite. I didn't find the poetic structure absorbing like some, but I was intrigued by it's purpose.
