Classic 'Epic' That Should Be Seen

Here is one of those three plus hour films that does feel long, at times, but it has many grand and entertaining moments throughout that make the experience worthwhile. This is a technical masterwork that still feels like a spectacle, after all these years. I give it high marks for living up to it's 'classic' status and recommend all film fans see it at least once. I'm glad I saw it, but I probably won't watch it again.

It, too, earned all the awards that it won, including Best Picture, for that year. Write On Profile +
