'Donnie Darko' is a unique experience. It is both a teen movie and an intriguing sci-fi film wound together in a captivating way. There is so much going on that it is difficult to describe. One could watch this and chose to ignore it's greater meanings and just enjoy for the fully realized teenage drama. This film was meant to be viewed multiple times to truly appreciate it's themes and intentions.
