Richard Attenborough is brilliant in this, and the film delivers for most of the duration. It does often struggle getting out of the maudlin tv movie vibe it seems to settle in, and so proves less cinematic than I would have hoped, but the performances are great, story is so so, overall it's definatly worth a viewing.
