I did not understand this one.
Normally, I watch the original, then the remake: I love comparing the two. In this case, I did not. But I can only hope the normal rule applies and that the original was much better.
I'm not stupid. I can usually make sense of a movie. Or at least invent a theory about what it means. So here, I think I know what happenened plot-wise. But if I'm right, I just don't see the point of the rest of the movie.
There is no consistent style or point of view to make the duration the least bit entertaining. Rarely do I feel a movie has been such a waste of time. And I'm wasting time now trying to express how I felt about it.
