Wrath of the Titans
Wrath of the Titans Review
Wrath of the Titans was a fairly decent sequel to Clash of the Titans. The action scenes were intense, but it was relatively slow to develop when no action was occurring. It was on par with the rest of the gods vs. titans movies, such as The Immortals. In my opinion, it did not live up to the hype created by the commercials, and the fighting between the gods and men against the titans was too short to be the epic climax that I had expected it to be. The titans were rolling through the gods and mortals defenses at first, and then Perseus shows up with his all powerful weapon in order to defeat the titan Kronos. It was quite anti-climactic as Perseus just flies down Kronos's throat and defeats him with one throw of the weapon. This heroic act, of course, saves mankind and Perseus is again revered by everyone for being the protector of man. Despite these downfalls, it did end up being an entertaining movie. I would recommend it as a movie to rent, not buy. All in all I would give this movie a 3 out of 5.
