Bachelorette

Bridesmaids from hell!
MovieAddict - wrote on 12/02/12

A quartet of High School buds are brought together by the marriage of 4th member of their crew, Becky, (Rebel Wilson), the least attractive whom the trio viciously called "Pig Face" in high school behind her back. Now hitting thirty, the girlfriends are horrified to be beaten to the altar by the overweight bride-to-be. The alpha leader is Regan, (Kirsten Dunst) the self-absorbed bulimic super-bitch maid of honor known appropriately as the Hannibal Lecter of bridesmaids who has built up resentment towards life for not being able to achieve more (like a husband). Although resentful of Becky's happiness, she is determined to make sure the wedding goes off without a hitch, until she inadvertently ripped Becky's wedding dress during a drunken binge with bubble-headed Katie (Isla Fisher) and slutty party girl Gena (Lizzy Caplan). Unhinged, the three women desperately try to figure out how to fix the dress in the middle of the night so they wouldn’t ruin their friend's big day.

Be warned that Bachelorette is only recommended for a certain audience as it contains a lot of profanity, sex, drugs (cocaine in a baby powder bottle) and of course we can’t have a bachelorette party without the stripper dressed as a cop. What I liked. The characters have their faults; they are selfish, crazy, jealous, bitches and yet they are friends who would do anything for each other. There are so many fantastic one-liners in this movie it gets funnier every time. “I am so excited…I could buy a gun.” And there is eye candy in the form of Adam Scott, who plays an ex-boyfriend of one of the women in question and James Marsden.
