Christmas family nightmare

I didn’t like this movie. This is the first movie in a very long time that I have forced myself to finish watching. Several times I wanted to just turn it off and stop watching it. Family is very dear to me, so this movie hit a nerve. This is a very strong visual and psychological suspense horror movie.
Once that is said, there is no denying that the story and the script are well written. The actors deliver a brilliant performance and the directing is very good. The reason I didn’t like this movie is because it hit a nerve with me, and touched something I don’t want anything to do with. The story is good but it’s about a topic I don’t like. That is why I can say that this was a very good movie and at the same time say that I didn’t like it.
Be warned this is not for everybody.
