2001 was a year of powerhouse acting and ensemble casts. Try to get Tom Wilkinson, Marisa Tomei, and Sissy Spacek out of your head after viewing Todd Fields' "In the Bedroom". There was also the trippy and Naomi Watts' star making role in "Mulholland Drive". The beginning of an empire with the first installment of "Lord of the Rings".
