reviews seem to all say there's not enough of the fat beast in the movie.
i'm not a big fan of these types of movies. i find them silly. but i,ll watch it and keep a open mind. but its not looking good for what i've read

they say its going for the jaws/ alien senario of story first creep it in build it up then go for glory.
but with  beast this size i dont think that works. as jaws was a shark in a ocean you couldn't see what was underneath so there's always anticipation and danger anyway. the same with alien it was undercover .
this is a monster i think maybe they should of drawn on that aspect more by the sounds of it. but who knows huh till we see it..

Given the close proximity to the release, I have to say, I'm more and more excited for this one. The addition of the likes of Bryan Crantson, Elizabeth Olsen, Ken Watanabe, Juliette Binoche and David Strathairn (amongst others) pretty much has me convinced this has to be better than the 1998 disaster. Plus, the trailers haven't been shy about actually showcasing Godzilla (even if he is "fat" according to the Japanese). Other than X-Men: Days of Future Past, this might be one of my most anticipated movies of the summer 2014 season. I can only hope the hype doesn't disappoint. 05/09/2014
