Plot: An alien parasite crash landed in a small town in 1959, but before it could spread, the first victim was cryogenically frozen. In the 1980s a pair of hapless fraternity pledges thaw the long-dormant parasite and unleash it upon the town.

An affectionate tribute to both alien invasion and zombie films, Night of the Creeps is funny and gory. There’s even time for characters to convey genuine emotion in some surprisingly heavy scenes. Kudos to director-writer Fred Dekker for keeping it colorful and kooky with some creative kills and clever dialogue.

Camp horror-comedy that has an affection for older B flicks. It's pretty standard stuff, but still mildly enjoyable. If you like this brand of movie, then you will feel right at home here.
