A fairly run of the mill sports movie with all the cliches in place, but Bakula and Elizondo are always very watchable.

Won't win points for originality (how many times have we seen underdog/misfit teams go the distance and win the big game) though this does star an older crowd. If you like sports comedies, you can do worse, so worth checking out if you're a fan of that particular genre, anyway.

Not a great movie, but one to watch if you like football...which I do. Old quarterback goes to college that's rebuilding its football team, falls in love with a prof, gives the team some pride. I've seen this several times and always enjoyed it.

Now the coaches (Robert Loggia and Hector Elizondo) and "Blake" have to bring the teammates together to turn the team's luck around, while trying to keep TSU's "Dean Elias" (Larry Miller), who tries everything he can to destroy the team since he doesn't even want the sport a part of his school.
