Another one that got away, probably due to its unwholesome subject matter. Weird IT worker (now there's a thing) buys a design-yourself, silicone sex doll. Now sooner is she out of the box than he's going all the way with her, even hooking up with some S&M. Thing is, he modeled the doll on a co-worker who he's got the hots for. As the psychosis takes hold you're never sure where this is heading - certainly not the place where it ends up. Tension is sustained throughout as the narrative maintains a perfect balance between a keeping-it-real thriller and a black comedy. Best line: "Just because she isn't alive doesn't mean she isn't real". Excellent.

Hey there drudgees! Is work getting to you and you need an escape? Well smoochers, then why not order a sex doll online for about $10K? Yes, that solves it! This is your basic "I'm going nuts!" play. Is the doll alive or is the main character koo koo, koo koo, koo koo? Interesting premise, but the acting and backdrop is too bland to keep interest, the story and "going crazy!" development far too rushed. Thus, ho-hum drudgees.
