The classic still translates today into an awesome movie. The coming of age movie has a perfect amount of romance, life-lessons, and revenge. Macchio was a great choice to play Daniel, the good kid in a new place trying to adapt to the different lifestyle than he's used to. The fight scenes are believable and don't get too cheesy, except of course the swan kick. This is a must see movie for all ages. |

Classic 80s teen version of Rocky that's wall to wall cliches, but all the more enjoyable for it. |

Not only is this a fantastic sports film, but it's a very believable coming of age story, told with a touch of 80's movie nostalgia. Pat Morita is unequaled in his role as the wise and pacific Mr. Miyagi. Too many iconic scenes and lines to count. |

It is so rewarding when an 80s movie actually holds up to how you felt about it as a kid. The fatherly mentor relationship with Mr. Miyagi is surprisingly profound and "You're the Best" is quite possibly one of the best songs ever used in a movie |

To put it simply, this is one of the definitive films of the 1980's. The music, the outfits, the hair. Its just awesome! Plus, underneath all that, it has a nice message to it. |
