I was really surprised by this movie. I thought that it was going to be really horrible, but it actually turned out to be really good.

feel good movie

great ensemble of talented actress. Although I've not had to face the issues the women in this film deal with I think they dealt with them in an honest manner. Emily Blunt, as usual, is awesome I think she deserves every accolade there is. Hugh Dancy is adorable, I absolutely loved when he references the relationships in one of Austen's books to Star Wars.
I'm no expert on the author, but I think Jane herself would have like this one.

Jane Austen goes to Outer Space

This movie works. Lots of laughs. Guys insecure with their sexuality probably won't be seeing this movie. Good performances by overlooked would-be stars. The only problem with this movie is that if you have no clue about Jane Austen, you probably will still have no clue by the end of this movie. They don't really even mention what Pride & Prejudice was about. Still, it seems the purpose was to entertain people, not make new Jane Austen converts.
