Review - Home on the Range (2004)

Maggie (Roseanne Barr) was a prize-winning cow when she was sent to Patch of Heaven, a dairy farm. When she found out that the farm was going to be sold, she along with two other cows, Grace (Jennifer Tilly) and Mrs. Caloway (Judi Dench), set off to catch cattle-rustler Alameda Slim (Randy Quaid) for the reward money in “Home on the Range.”

I’m probably going to get hurt for saying this, but I enjoyed this movie. A lot of people don’t though, and I can understand why. The plot is both ridiculous and played out in a rather generic and at times random way. Then there’s the whole Roseanne thing, but overall it really wasn’t that horrible.

The animation does come off as a bit lacking coming from Disney, but I think it works for what it is. That’s pretty much how I feel about everything ...
