Virtual remake of the original, with less wit and more schmaltz. The chemistry between Murray, Aykroyd and Ramis keeps it watchable though. |

This is definitely one of the more fresh sequels of the 80's, a film that picks up with the same energetic comedic pace as the first. The entire cast is in fine form, but, once again, Rick Moranis and Sigourney Weaver really steal most of the scenes with their borderline campy caricatures. Watched back-to-back with the first, it's a fun ride. |

It's still a good movie, it's not anywhere near as good as the first. The cast still does a good job at being funny. Some of the decisions in the story and script don't make a whole lot of sense, but I think fans were desperate for a sequel, and they couldn't decide what else to do. It's definitely a good watch that is worth it. Bill Murray interacting with a child, something seems wrong about it..haha |

An almost perfect, yet very slimy, seqyel |

Five years ago, New York City was saved by the worst paranormal incident the world has ever seen up to that point by a group of "Ghostbusters" (Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson). However, things went down hill for the group after just about every department in the city government sued them and put them out of business. The team splits up thanks to a judicial restraining order, but still keep in touch.
The crew gets back together to investigate some strange happenings which seems to be centered around "Oscar" (William and Henry Deutschendorf in their only movie role), the infant son of "Dana Barrett" (Sigourney Weaver), who broke up with "Dr. Peter Venkmen" (Murray) sometime between this and the original movie.
What they find is a very large ammount of a kind... |
