Funny and romantic. The chemistry between Moore and Swayze is electric. Goldberg is hysterical. One of the all time great chick flicks.

A very unique plot line, excellent cast that each expertly deliver their roles you are quickly bonded with every character and understand the emotions between them. Great movie had me weeping by the end.

Ghost

This is a well-crafted story with a very emotional story at its core. The cast is excellent, especially Demi Moore. The special effects are dated, and the big emotional goodbye at the end is a bit over the top, but it is certainly still worth watching.

As always, I monitored the film for tobacco use. The good news? No characters were scene using tobacco! The bad news? There is a scene in which a cigarette machine is smashed open, spilling four different identifiable brands of cigarettes on a subwya platform: Taryton, Pall Mall, Malibu, and Carlton. Can you say "product placement"? The film scene earned the film a SmokeScreeners Rating of 1 Butt! http://tinyurl.com/njm8ke

BOO! BOO HOO!

One of those "crossing over" movies. Almost always in this type of ghostly stories, the newly dead is hindered from crossing over into the light until the perpetrator has been put to justice. If that is the case in real life then we'd have a lot of whirling spirits waiting for AMERICA'S MOST WANTED to solve their cold cases. Cute but stupid. Wait in line, Casper! But the main hold as far SAM WHEAT (Patrick Swayze) was concerned was MOLLY (Demi Moore). MOLLY needs to hear the words "I LOVE YOU" from SAM. Those words that MOLLY never got to hear when SAM was still alive. WHOOPI GODLBERG did an outrageous job. I loved the scenes like in her seance meetings, her role as a bridge between SAM and MOLLY. Excruciatingly funny! Demi Moore was at one of her highest heights, and Patri...

Ghost

Many people I talked to about this movie thought it was soppy and too romantic, but I thought it has the perfect mix of romance, humor and drama. Add great acting, and this is a totally enjoyable movie. The only aspect of this movie I didn't like was the fact that Patrick Swayze starred. He annoys me.
