Plot Outline:

The Captain (Douglas) of the aircraft carrier U.S.S. Nimitz, with a government civilian "efficiency expert" (Sheen) aboard, sails out of Pearl Harbor in what seems like a normal deployment to the Pacific. When a storm unlike any storm they have ever seen before engulfs them, the crew is knocked unconscious. When they awake, they slowly realize that the storm has transported them back in time to the day before the infamous Japanese attack of Pearl Harbor in 1941. Knowing that their ship has the aircraft, weaponry and technology 40 years more superior than the advancing Japanese fleet, the crew struggles with the ethical question: Should we stop the attack and change history forever? -- FilmBuffJeff

Enjoyable time travel fantasy that dumps a modern day aircraft carrier in the path of Japanese forces on the eve of the attack on Pearl Harbour. Kirk Douglas and Martin Sheen add weight to the cast and despite the rather TV movie production value and the fact that the idea isn't fully fleshed out thanks to the cop out of an ending, it's still an entertaining diversion.
