One of the better parodies that you probably never heard of. It's a fairly good spoof of noir films, older and newer (at the time). The style is like the Zuckers meets Mel Brooks. The jokes come out in almost rapid succession and there are few misses. The best part is that there are almost no pop-culture referrences to make it feel dated. If you like pariodies, then do youself a favor and check it out.

Noir spoof worth checking out!

I personally love spoofs and this one is a parody of some of my favorite movies including “Cape Fear,” “Sleeping with the Enemy," “Basic Instinct” and "Fatal Attraction."
Ned Ravine (Armand Assante) is a police officer / lawyer who is being cheated on by a scheming wife (Kate Nelligan), while being pursued by a sexy client (blonde bombshell Sean Young). Meanwhile his quiet and demure secretary (Sherilyn Fenn) is secretly in love in with him. She is hding from her psycho husband who will stop at nothing to regain her affections. Christopher McDonald is the dimwitted mechanic who hatches a murder scheme with Ravine two-timing spouse to dispose of him and collect on the insurance policy on Ned’s life.
