I hate Jack Black. I mean HATTTTTE him. But this movie wasnt half bad. Envy/Jealousy is always an interesting topic/feeling to see expressed.

Sets up a good premise for a slightly dark humored comedy, but then looses direction fast and meanders in a story that goes nowhere.

While I can't say that I would recommend this movie for most people I thought it was ok. Ben Stiller and Jack Black are both very funny actors for the most part, the only problem that I found with this movie was the script. Even Christopher Walken couldn't save this movie from the lash of the critics. I don't dub this movie as being the worst one out there, as it did have its moments, but it seemed like Jack Black was being held back and not given the free reign that he usually uses in his movies that become hits. Some will think its ok, most will think its tripe. I wish I could say more positive things about this movie, but its not the brilliant comedy that Stiller, Black, and Walken are surely capable of starring in.
