One of those movies that starts out promising and then slowly gets worse, as it drags on to the end. It's saved only by a few shining moments.

If you read the book, do not watch the movie. You will be unspeakablly disappointed. So much information is left out and you don't feel the connection with the characters as strongly as you did when you were turning the pages of this masterpiece.

Unique and thrilling! Great character establishment and excellent acting make for an enriching and chilling experience alike. A blend of sci-fi, horror, and thriller elements, Dreamcatcher is one of the better King adaptations to date. Multidimensional and loaded with a scary sort of realism that seems to slither out of the several genres it boasts, if Stephen King did his own twisted version of John Carpenter’s 1982 “The Thing”, this would be it!

now many people hated this film,or at least find it to be just "okay".but im here to explain, that not only is this film great, but interesting throughout the whole thi film isen't that terrifying,it's more creepy than that.this film makes you think and wonder by the credits makes you think "can people in this world really have these abillities?" or "can there really be life, like extraterrestrial ?".but everything about this filis great.the only problem i had was that the film draged and slowed don at times, but who cares about that.te cast is great,Thomas Jane,Timothy Olyphant,Jason Lee,Morgan Freeman,Damien Lewis,Tom Sizemore are all great in this film ( especially Jason Lee).overall this film is not that scary, but it sure is a really great, interesting film.not to mention...
