This is a tricky one to rate. Basically, it's garbage. But at the same time, it didn't bore me because it's not pretentious and at just over 70 mins, it's mercifully short. It has literally no plot to speak of and the dialogue is lame and repetititive; it feels like a po-faced and lesser episode of the X-Files, but it's reasonably well shot. In the end, a sense of humour would've helped immensely. Inoffensive rubbish. |

There's horror, there's so-bad-it's-good horror, comedy-horror and then Darkness Falls just plain bad horror. It's like the film was made by a person who watched a lot of horror films, then tried to copy them, but only the obvious and dull parts. You can find better uses for your time. |

The acting in the movie was alright, but the script was poorly written. Some of the scenes were filmed well, but most of the movie had poor camera angles and poor lighting. These poor shots made the movie hard to watch.
The killer in the movie was poorly shot and very clique. She was burnt so she had to wear a mask and that sort of thing. There was nothing original about the character at all. So much, in fact, that I felt very sorry for her to be on the screen at all.
While I was watching this movie, I felt no tension. No scenes in the movie made me jump or feel uncomfortable at all. I spent most o... |
