Loved this movie. Loved the characters. As equally good as Dangerous Liasons. Smart dialogue. Sexy scenes. One of my favorite movies. |

This a smart, sexy drama. The sparks fly between the actors, helped by some razor-sharp dialog. The romance feels a bit contrived, but in the end, this is a sinful guilty pleasure that should be enjoyed at least once. |

Not Your Average Teen Movie |
|
This was smart, sexy, and funny. This is a very old story will a lot of different adaptations. I have actually read the original French version of Liason Dangereux and watched the version with Glenn Close and John Malcovich, and a very young Uma Therman. It's hard to compare the two. While its the same story they are portrayed very differently. What I will say about this one though is that Sarah Michelle Gellar and Ryan Phillippe were brilliant together. The acting in this movie was superb. A very talented cast combined with a great story line and great script never go wrong. |

Loved it! |
|
This is definitely one of my favorite teen movies of the late 90's. My friend and I initially watched it because of Sarah Michelle Gellar (huge Buffy fans). But after watching the film, it became an instant classic. Okay, it's not Oscar worthy, but Sebastion and Kathryn are so incredibly wicked and are very entertaining to watch. Some of my favorite moments include: "The black man is gone! The black man is gone! Praise Jesus, the black man is gone!" and "You're just a toy Sebastion. A little toy I like to play with"
Ah, yes good times. |
