This is the most extensive, fascinating and completely satisfying documentary (covering a movie franchise) that you are ever likely to see. It's a must watch for anyone that has an appreciation of the 'Nightmare' series. I could not give this a higher recommendation.

The Elm Street Legacy - Review

Three years since horror legend, Wes Craven passed. He made a massive impact on the horror genre and one of the all time greats. The terror will live on forever.

'Never Sleep Again: The Elm Street Legacy' is a fascinating documentary on the Elm Street movies. Don't let the four hour run time put you off, as it's an interesting watch. While the interviews themselves are a bit over the top, like the actors and directors think their made/starred in high art movies. Although you can tell a lot of love and care went into these, even the terrible ones.

Also, it's funny hearing Renny Harlin, director of 'A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master', say every decision he made was "pure genius" while showing the most absurd shots clips from the film.
