There are some good-hearted laughs and Adam Sandler plays a character more grounded in reality (and intelligence) than usual. That is what actually makes "Click" a surprisingly good comedy - it holds a true emotional heart that actually creates some poignant and thought-provoking moments, amid the laughs. |

A very good cast but had little to offer in the end. The screen play could have been better. Its message was clear, much like Defending your Life and It's A Wonderful Life, but just a adequately executed overall. If you’re in the mood to watch a drama-comedy type of film with a rarely serious Adam Sandler, then feel free to view this. Generally, not a good flick, but not really dreadful. Still has some humorous scenes in the film. |

This is one of those movies that gives me difficulty when it comes to rating them. The first half of the film is really tedious and cliche, but the last half had great potential and had its moments. I've always wanted to see the vulnerable side of Adam Sandler (like he did in "Spanglish") and less of his usual goofy self. This film gave me both and produced mixed results. The film is obviously a fable but also works as a commentary toward parents who are not there enough for their children because they work (or play) too much. I guess what I'm trying to say is that this film is not your typical Adam Sandler movie. Will I remember it ten or twenty years from now? Most likely because the concept they played with here is pretty original. Do I think it deserves any award? Maybe not. Still, my... |
