A longtime girlfriend of Hugh Hefner's playboy mansion, a young girl gets a little older when she is kicked out of the mansion for being too old. She sets to the streets to find her way in Los Angeles. She stumbles upon the ugliest, dumbest, and least popular sorority. Her ambition leads her to straighten it up and make them popular by showing them a good time and how to work it.

Anna Faris plays pretty much the same role she has always played, but she does it so well that I wouldn't want it any other way. This is like Revenge of the Nerds crossed with She's All That - nothing original, but enjoyable enough. |

Fluffy Cloud Ride |
|
Story is mundane and muddled with some typically awkward moments. The beginning starts off rough, but the rest of the film floats along on a fluffy cloud of goodness known as Anna Faris. A good amount of jokes ranging in all forms are somewhat evenly spread out, with a few great laugh-out-loud moments placed in the right spots. Just up to watching standards, thanks to Anna and Emma. |

The House Bunny |
|
This film is cuter than it looked. A couple people surprisingly recommend it. While it is not the most stunning film, it was great. Anna Faris always enchants. Written by the same team as Legally Blonde, we kind of get leftover ideas here: a house bunny from the Playboy Mansion is thrown out when she hits "27" years OLD. Oh wow, how old! That's my age. Oh well. There is fun stuff in here reminiscent of Legally Blonde and other girl comedies. But it doesn't really set itself apart to make it a classic. |

Not bad for what it is |
|
Pretty standard losers-become-winners story, with a little bit of ugly ducklings become beautiful women thrown in. Anna Faris further establishes herself as a confident comedic heroine. This role probably isn't going to bring really serious roles her way, but it reminds me a little of the type of role Reese Witherspoon took with Legally Blonde. Anyway, it's not a great movie, but I won't lie, I laughed quite a few times. I agree with a post down below, Emma Stone is an emerging talent. |

Anna Faris as Dumb Blonde (Again) |
|
The day after her 27th birthday Shelly (Anna Faris) is thrown out of her comfy lifestyle in the Playboy Mansion. Her initial forays into the real world aren’t too successful, and an unlikely misunderstanding with a cop (Dan Patrick) even lands her in jail for a night.
Her luck changes with the discovery of an entire street of mini-Playboy Mansions and a new calling as a House Mother for the lamest sorority on campus, the one full of the kind of misfits you only find in movies like this and Sydney White and is constantly facing probation, expulsion, or both. From here you can guess what happens next.
Shelly uses her gifts to turn all the other girls (Emma Stone, Kat Dennings, Katherine McPhee, Dana Goodman, Rumer Willis, Kiely Williams) into hotties, fights off the mean sorority gi... |

I thought it was great for what it is, and Emma Stone is the real star she is going to be huge. |

Yes, the women are attractive. lol
I thought it was pretty funny. Anna Faris made the movie that much better. The final act could've been better but it's far from terrible. |
