Classic Disney fun that might have not have had the biggest stars or greatest budget, but it still manages to make not only a great family film, but stays relevant even after all this time. I don't know if kids today can appreciate this kind of film, but I still have fond memories of it.

Let's forget about the horrible Disney remake, Flubber. This film is a classic blend of comic timing, ahead-of-its-time special effects, and some genuine heart. One of several classic Disney live action films from the 60's, it holds up today and entertains throughout.

First of all, let me say there is nothing wrong with "hokum" or old American values or screwball comedies or old Disney movies. As with anything, it's always in the eye of the beholder. This movie was fun to watch and funny in enough places to warrant a watch by any self-respecting human being with a warm sense of humor. This movie was the second movie that Fred MacMurray had starred in and it was really well done. I remember seeing this as a kid with my dad and it was great. This is an awesome film and great for families.
