Cheesy showcase for Ray Harryhausen's stop motion effects which were looking well past their sell-by date even then, bolstered by an all-star supporting cast. Unfortunately Harry Hamlin as the square-jawed hero is ill-equipped to match their thespian expertise and the mechanical owl's comic relief is just plain irritating. This is no Jason and the Argonauts. |

Outdated and cheesy, but still retains some fun. It's a classic mythology tale and good adventure film. |

There's a lot of iconic, old-school stop motion imagery thrown together in this energetic and exciting adaptation of the Greek myths. Of course, it's bound to be cheesy at times, but the pace of the film never lessens and there's always a new god or creature to watch in action. |

Stop motion animation may have been waning by the time Clash of the Titans came out, but Ray Harryhausen is the king of his craft, and it shows. It's a little cheesy, and is squishes a bunch of myths together, but I kind of dig it. |
