I was super pumped for this movie. It was supposed to be a semi documentary on mountain hiking in the snow. It was a let down. I don't know it just was not special to me.

I can't believe this film was based on a true story. I can't imagine the torture, the cold, and the hardship that the mountaineers went through in order to survive. This movie made me weak to my stomach and knees; at times I had to look away due to the horror of seeing what is actually happening. I have to give kudos to the director for making such an ambitious film. Did they film it in actual blizzard or were most of it simulated? Either way, everything looks so natural. You can bet your bottom dollar that I won't be doing any mountain climbing in ...
