Plot Outline:
Inexperienced main character is promised a "sure thing" with a hot blonde in California. Meanwhile, he is traveling with an average brunette to get there until his feelings change.
I don't "get" a lot of the more popular 80s comedies, but I've always had a soft spot for this one. The ever likeable John Cusack is one reason, the fact it was directed by Rob Reiner straight after Spinal Tap is probably the other.
