One Last Time for Lost

So what if it's not about a movie? I've been a serious Lost fan since that wicked pilot with polar bears and French transmissions and Charlie asking "Guys, where are we?"

I was hooked and I've stayed hooked these past six years - with all flash backs, flash forwards, a smoke monster, hatches, time travel, alternate worlds - some people got discouraged, some got angry, some just got confused - but I stuck with it, through every twist, disappointment, answered or unanswered question, and now I am hours away from learning the fate of what I would argue is the greatest show of last decade.

The best thing about Lost is that different people can take different things away from it. Faith, philosophy, characters or just deciphering the mystery - the facets of the show go much deeper than what you find on the surface. Every time I thought it had pulled out all the stops, it would reinvent itself again, throwing something new and interesting into the mix - be it the Dharma Initiative, the mysterious Jacob or a new way to view old characters.

I won't try to convert anyone - if you don't like Lost, it's no skin off nose - some people get hot under the collar for Harry Potter or Twilight or any number of things - but I'm about a big of fan of Lost as I am Star Wars - and that's saying something.

I've purposely avoided any and all spoilers, so I'm going into tonight with no prior knowledge, and I fully intend to learn how this journey will end.
