Two movies are coming out this weekend that are worth some attention. Now whether or not they're going to be good is another story...
The Green Hornet
If you've watched any TV in the last month, you know they've been advertising the crap out of this movie. Comic book lovers and vigilante wanna-bees may be disappointed after watching this film. Why Seth Rogen was chosen for this part I have no idea. I'm skipping this one this weekend and will await criticism to flow in. It will get good opening box office numbers, but I don't think will get very good reviews. But I could be wrong.
The Dilemma
This is the movie to go see this weekend. It isn't going to be a blockbuster hit, but what it will accomplish is a lot of laughs and fun. Exactly what any comedy should be. And with Vince Vaughn you can't go wrong. He was great in Couples Retreat and Wedding Crashers and I think this movie will be very similar. We'll see if I have time this weekend to go watch it. If not, it will be on my list to see.
