Heartwarming with excellent performaces.

A true story movie of James "Robert" Kennedy who changed the life's of everyone around him.
In all seriousness this movie is terribly underrated and deserves much more credit. Whether its Cuba Gooding Jr. for him inspirational performances or Ed Harris for his gripping and mindless authority to help someone that nobody understood: Radio is a sufficient movie that portraits the events, the emotions, the laughs and the times of when James "Robert" Kennedy becomes "Radio".
Its truly been made well. The movie living through the events in the 70s when racism was a terrible problem: the director ignored that conspiracy and went on with the movie without being racist or showing any negative signs between black or white. Ed Harris and Cuba Gooding Jr. are great in this.

Radio stars Ed Harris as football coach Harold Jones. Coach Jones has been teaching football all his life and loves the game. However he does not spend much time with his wife and daughter played by Debra Winger and Sarah Drew. One day Radio, played by Cuba Gooding Jr., comes by the football field while the coach's team is practicing for the game. Some members of the team, then tie up Radio and throw him into a building. They then bang on the building and finally Coach Jones suspects something is wrong. He comes over and helps Radio, who is frightened, and from that point on Coach Jones and Radio shares a very special bond.
