A pretty good crime/action hybrid with Keaun being all he can be - with Patrick Swayze to boot! The plot isn't the greatest, but if you ignore the more ludicrous aspects, it turns out okay. One of those films that brings back 90s nostalgia.

re-watching "Point Break", I re-lived a time when I thought Keanu Reeves was the coolest(still do!) B+

A great movie. Keanu Reeves and Patrick Swayze were awesome, as usual, and their characters just pulled me in to their 'lives'. I don't usually enjoy action movies, but this I loved, and would actually go as far to say that this is my favourite action movie. It had the right mix of everything, comedy, action, romance, a great storyline, a flawless actors.

It still amazes me that people cast Keanu in anything. He's probably one of the worst actors of his generation. Given that, this movie was bad enough that it didn't matter. Could the name Johnny Utah be any more corny? And trying to make Swayze's character some kind of mystical guru was really a stretch. Lori Petty is also one of the most annoying actresses I've seen.

I really liked this one. I am almost embarrassed to say it, but with the exception of The Matrix, this may be Keanu's best film.

Keanu Reeves in what is pretty much considered to be his first serious movie. Skydiving. Surfing. Robberies. As if that wasn't enough, NIGHT surfing. Yes my friends, it's not wrong to die doing something you love, and if you can forgive Reeve's usual balsa (which everyone knows is the traditional surfboard WOOD) acting and focus on Swayze's flawless interpretation of the single minded ultimate adrenaline junkie then you're gonna love this movie.
