Denzel Washington and Dakota Fanning do fine Job in this movie but this movie is okay.

This may be Denzel's finest movie yet, and that's saying something. He plays a former CIA agent who is now a recovering alcoholic and lands a job as a high priced bodyguard for a wealthy family in Mexico. When they're little girl is kidnapped and presumed killed, Denzel goes on a revenge spree and will kill and torture anyone who knew anything about the crime. Christopher Walken and Dakota Fanning co-star in this edgy thriller.

'Denzel is the film's emotional core - presenting an intriguing anti-hero who does unlikable things for a likable cause. Unfortunately, Tony Scott often ruins some of the film's best moments with his music video style editing and penchant for focusing on action rather than characters.

Tony Scott's best flick. Not cheese at all, and with risks taken. Really great Performance by Denzel Washington. I liked the cinematography and the whole idea of the story. Entertains a lot, and shows in a very realistic way how things are everywhere, but mostly in southamerica.

Man on Fire is a dark film. Part revenge, part breakdown - Denzel Washington gives a great performance as a man pushed too far. Even though he's doing the right thing, it still feels hard to root for him. I think it works on many levels.
