One of Robin Williams' worst movies, "Man of the Year" is satirically sterile.

The comedy isn't all that funny and the drama is lame. I didn't find much at all to like here.

I didn't particularly like this movie. It wasn't as good as I thought it'd be.

Man of the Year is an weird blend of adult humor and politics, two things that don't go together. Barry Levinson does a good job directing this movie. Robin Williams is quite good as the lead, as he does his usual none comedy bit, but a lot of the time, the jokes aren't funny. Laura Linney is also good as the woman trying to be silenced from discovering a secret (a role we've seen plenty of times before.). Jeff Goldblum is surprisingly very good in a role no one has ever seen him play before. The movie is entertaining(for a while), but for a comedy, it's a little to serious and not very funny.

So, is it supposed to be serious or funny? It was pretty bad, but I was able to watch it all the way through.
