A completely amazing tribute to Tokien's work, "The Two Towers" is a brilliant spectacle focusing on three distinct groups of adventurers as they delve deeper into the dark world of evil. I loved the usage of fantastical forestry for the Ents as well as the depressing and even pathetic country of Rohan and how every single wrong is atoned for and every character begins to see the redeeming light at the end of the tunnel. Far scarier and darker than Fellowship, "The Two Towers" is the Villainous part of this epic saga.

Better than the first one, but as I wrote in the Fellowship review, you have to take all three movies as a whole, not seperatly.

The visual scope of these films is amazing. Although I was never really a fan of the books, I love the movies.

Not exceptional in any way. Also, why do people have to include the whole trilogy on their lists, you never see them apart. I can understand really enjoying the first one but after that I can't comprehend someone enjoying this that much.

Terribly boring. I saw these movies just to make sure I knew what I was talking about. Anyway, Elijah Wood is one of the worst actors.

Part two of LOTR, this movie starts to add pieces left out in part one. With the Fellowship now split into parts, Frodo must take the ring into the heart of Mordor.

TTT splits the tale, and you follow the old fellowship in different scenarios. Perhaps the most remarkable aspect in this one is obviously Gollum. The same happened to me with the Balrog in the first, so here I felt pretty excited about that. And, it was beyond awesome. Weta has nothing to envy to Dreamworks or Lucas. It achives a master animation that has incredible momments. Althought I see the trilogy as a whole movie, this one is my least favorite of the 3.

Take part one, up the action and special effects, keep the other great factors and you have The Two Towers. The pace is faster, the battles are bigger and Peter Jackson just keeps getting better. Stunning and superb.

My favorite of the three movies. The action is spectacular and makes it seem like a short film. By far the most entertaining book of the three as well.
