Although it moves a little slower than the other two films in the series, there is no doubt this is still an amazing achievement. Every element - director, script, actors, music, special effects coelesce to form the perfect fantasy film.

Though this is still a great film, it is slow compared to the next two installments in the series. After watching it 6 or 7 times it gets a bit dull.

The reason why this is the best of three is because all fellowship members remain together, and we are not taken back and forth between characters. Great music, great story, and great direction!
