a decent reboot to the halloween franchise. i actually think rob zombie did a good job.

29 years after the original Halloween, an awesome remake was released. Directed by Rob Zombie this is a great movie. I love the use of music and the camera shots. I would recommend movie.

While the original will always remain a classic, Rob Zombie does a good job with this remake. The back story on Myers is interesting, Malcolm McDowell makes a good Loomis and there is plenty of horror. The dialog is lacking, however.

I think that this movie definitely had it's purpose and that was to set up the story for the other Halloween movies. If you go into it expecting to see some completely new story and idea then expect to be let down. That being said, I think this movie was great! Any film that can make you feel sympathetic for a twisted psycho killer deserves some recognition. If you're any kind of horror movie fan this is a must see and highly recomended!
