Expensive looking television action-drama about a hijacked train armed with a nuclear weapon. Pierce Brosnan is kind of a jerk in the lead heroic role but Alexandra Paul is quite good as the brave brainy heroine. It's too bad she didn't do much after Baywatch. Christopher Lee is sorely underused but Patrick Stewart is good. The action scenes are pretty brutal for a TV budget and it is a short sit at 90 minutes. But the plot is your basic "terrorists with nukes" storyline and after a while, it gets boring watching a train proceed undeterred despite this being the middle of Europe. Why not send in NATO or someone?
