Another action packed example of Korean historical filmmaking that doesn't skimp on the bullets and political intrigue. Like other such films like Battleship Island or Age of Shadows, it probably runs about twenty minutes longer than is necessary. But there's a solid cat-and-mouse game between secret policemen and rebel assassins to keep things interesting. The action scenes are very well done. Highlights include a truck chase lifted straight from Indiana Jones and a thrilling finale at a wedding of all places. Why can't Hollywood make movies like this now?
