"Predestination" by Yojimbo

A temporal agent who travels back and forth in time to prevent crimes before they are committed embarks on one final mission in an attempt to avert a bombing in New York that kills thousands of people.

This story shares elements most obviously with Minority Report and Looper, but the way in which the plot contorts and folds in upon itself is most reminiscent of Inception with a time paradox spin. As is common to the genre, the story will stand or fall completely on the audience's willingness to swallow the somewhat ridiculous premise and I must admit that I found the final twist rather obvious, but the nice production design, enjoyable performances and overall quirkiness of the idea kept me consistently entertained; I've long been a fan of the work of Ethan Hawke, and Sarah Snook is a …

Predestination is worth checking out

It took me a while well actually it took me forever to get around and watch this movie and I'm a bit disappointing...that I didn't watch this sooner.

The story to Predestination is about a order to ensure his law enforcement career for all time, a temporal agent must navigate an intricate set of time-travel journeys. But his final assignment pits him against the one man who has eluded him in all times - but to protect his future, he will finally have to stop him.

The reason why I didn't get around to seeing this is because I didn't know nothing about it and I have seen different reviews by critics and YouTube Reviewers that didn't make sound anything that interesting so I didn't bother with it. When I was on the plane to New Zealand for a holiday you get those little TV's in front …

This is a great time travel movie with some cool plot twists and real storyline and acting.
A man walks into a bar and they get talking and he bets the barman he has a story he will never believe but he is not what he seems to be , it then flashes back to his early life as he tells his story.
meanwhile the barman is a agent who has been travelling back in time to try and catch a serial killer that has escaped him all these years, its when they speak to each other is when he decides to help him out by going back with him to the past to right some wrongs.
There's a lot more to come and mullti twists and turns. and a story that really makes you think and stays with you after the film.
The only one downflaw is there isnt a lot of action, if it just had a little more going on action …

'Predestin'ed To Warp Your Mind

'Predestination' is not the usual history altering action/thriller the trailer initially sold me on. No, it's FAR from that. This is one of the most unique time travel films I've ever seen. An intricately complex narrative brings forth one weird and utterly surprising revelation after another. My jaw dropped more with each new reveal. There are many fascinating ideas at play. The plot is tightly constructed. It continuously circles back on itself, causing little room for time travel inconsistencies. Newcomer Sarah Snook wows with an impressively layered performance. I was connecting the pieces of the story every minute, becoming fully intrigued and invested. The ending leaves some questions worth dissection. Looking back, I see the theme of preconceived fate through ill-gotten …

“What if I could put him in front of you, the man that ruined your life. If I could guarantee that you’d get away with it. Would you kill him ?”

Sigh! Where are those good old days you could enjoy a movie about time traveling like "Back to the future","The Terminator","Timecop" or recently "Looper" while lying relaxed in your seat without craving for a glass of aspirin as the film progresses ? The principle of paradoxes known to time traveling is cited in these films (like Michael J. Fox becoming blurry and the threat of disappearing because of his parents growing apart), but isn't of primary importance for the entire motion picture. "Predestination" is something completely different and is put together pretty damn clever and shrewd. But I assure you, the numerous plot …
