A classic that I think rivals the like of Dazed and Confused. The many characters are great, and the actors all seem to vibe with each other. The soundtrack is also amazing and will have me watching just for it. It also has one of the most memorable and famous nude scenes of all time. The movie had me laughing throughout. This movie is epically awesome and should be seen by everybody.

A fun blend of comedy, coming-of-age realism, some young and talented actors, and a great soundtrack. This is 80's nostalgia at its finest and a fun romp from start to finish. The large cast of characters is balanced extremely well.

This was a great slacker comedy, possibly the best ever. The way Specoli acts through the movie is possibly the best part. I really thought that even though it was hilarious all the way through, it also had some drama mixed in, then again, what would high school be without drama. It really was a realistic movie as well as it was crazy. I would recomend this movie to people who like slacker comedies, and obiously high schoolers.

One of the more memorable teen sex comedies of the 80's. The comedy and drama go hand in hand. It's intentions are more sincere and truthful, which makes the story and characters encompass the teenage issues of it's time.

A rollicking film directed by Amy Heckerling of "Clueless" fame. Sean Penn, can you believe that Sean Penn went on after this movie to win not one, but TWO Academy Awards!? Wonderful!

I really enjoyed this movie, which surprised me, as it was a pretty lame movie. It is about teenagers... juts being teenagers, I guess. It isn't the average teen movie with all the bitchy girls and stereotypes and all that, it shows teenagers in a more realistic sense. It is hilariously funny, especially Spicoli, the stoned surfer dude!
