I relented adding this to the database for so long.... but it's a whole lot of fun. If you ever needed validation that Joss Whedon is a genius, just watch this - Nathon Fillion, Felicia Day and the upstanding Neil Patrick Harris. May be a bit rough around the edges but the characters and music are just great and everyone looks like they're having the time of their lives. Just enjoy this for what it is.

Started out as a mini web series and later released on DVD. It's a bittersweet love triangle between a not-so super villain, a selfishly arrogant super hero, and a cute girl. Having the protagonist be the 'bad guy', and the drama revolve around his heartache, spins a refreshing angle on a familiar setup. The story is great! The whole piece has a fun quirkiness and is consistently funny. The music is surprisingly well written and performed. The songs further the story and, at times, add to the comedy. My only complaints are the rough beginning scene, the short running time, and the sort-of abrupt, cold ending. Still, it's all very enjoyable. A must watch for anyone who likes these actors, or director Joss Whedon's comedic style.
