"Doogal" has good, kid-friendly intentions, but it's an utterly charmless animated wreck with a pop culture obsessed sense of humor that gets old by the third or fourth reference.

This movie has ruined the original in every way. The british original version (The Magic Roundabout) was very enjoyable & fun, but when re-making it for american audiences they replaced almost all of the original voices & re-wrote the movie so they could put in a load of pointless pop culture references & stupid flatulence jokes. They have ruined a gem of a movie. UK Version: *** US Version: *1/2

Second-rate animated fare with an irritating lead character. A voice cast like this is hard to resist, but you should, especially the over-the-top Jon Stewart. Why didn't Zebadee just accompany them on the quest, since he's the one that hid the objects they seek? If Zeebad has been frozen and trapped for 10,000 years, how does he know all the trends and slang? Very little makes sense in this animated world where even the locomotive engine has flatulence. Final Grade: C-
