This is an okay film. It features some terrific performances, Helen Hunt in particular; it's really nice to see her getting good roles again. Overall though, I thought The Sessions could have been so much more.

A mature handling of the subject of sexuality. Through it's sensitivity, the film balances smart comedy with touching emotion, all to great effect. The acting is flawless and the characters feel genuine. An enjoyable 'feel-good' lesson in human nature.
