A high spirited rock musical, with a robust amount of 80's hair hits and a taste for humor. The plot/characters may be a cliche, but the movie covers them in a knowingly cheesy fashion. Speaking of 'covers', the song performances are well done and generate the right amount of silly when needed. This turned out to be a surprisingly fun watch. |
