Better than Airport but not as good as The VIPs which incidentally also starred Rod Taylor. Some of the interconnecting plots are interesting like a rich couple involved in a hit-and-run or a black couple refused service. Taylor is in fine form as the levelheaded hotel manager and Melvyn Douglas is good as the aging owner of said hotel.
